Course Overview
The aim of this course is to help you revise maths topics and practise applying maths skills to solve real-life-like problems.
A number of maths areas will be studied, including advanced work on fractions and percentages, measurement, ratio and statistics, with main focus on improving problem solving skills and exam preparation work.

You will be studying towards a nationally recognised qualification in Functional Skills Mathematics (Edexcel). The exam is an integral part of this course.
Level 1 Functional Skills Maths qualification is equivalent to GCSE Maths grades D-E.
Level 2 Functional Skills Maths qualification is equivalent to GCSE Maths grades C-A.
