This course will enable you use the Sage accounting software to carry out routine accounting tasks. These will include being able to create accounts and process accounting information in respect of the sales and purchase ledger.

Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements
You will need a basic understanding of adding and subtracting including
use of decimals together with a basic knowledge of bookkeeping. You
also need basic IT skills.

Your English will need to be at Entry Level 3 or above and you should be able to follow verbal and written instructions

What examination is there?

What examination is there?
At the start of the course you will complete an initial assessment which will provide a starting point for your learning. The tutor will continuously assess your work and keep a record of your progress.

You will receive regular feedback on practical tasks which will highlight your strengths and areas for improvement. You will have an individual learning plan to monitor your own progress, and you may also want to keep your own diary of your progress. You will gain more from the course if you commit time to practising outside the classroom.

We expect you to attend all sessions, arrive on time and complete any homework given by your tutor. In general, we will not allow late entry to any course. In all cases the full fee will be charged.
