Course Overview
Start to talk about past events and experiences, helping you move beyond the present and express a wider range of meaning.
You’ll practise describing what you did yesterday, talking about past experiences, and explaining situations from your daily life.
You’ll use Spanish to share experiences and respond to questions more clearly, helping you take a more active role in conversations with Spanish speakers.
This course introduces el pretérito indefinido.

How will you know you are making progress?
Your tutor will give you continuous feedback on your oral and written work as well as suggestions for improvement. You will have an individual learning plan to monitor your own progress.
The tutor will keep a record of your work and performance and discuss this with you.
You will gain more from the course if you commit study time to it outside the classroom.

We expect you to attend all classes, be on time and complete any homework given by your tutor.
In general, we will not allow late entry to any course after the first two weeks. In all cases the full fee will be charged. You can discuss issues with your tutor or the Assistant Programme Manager at any time during the course.
