It is suitable for adults aged 19 and over who are currently enrolled on a qualification course and would benefit from additional support with their learning. This may include support with English, maths, organisation, exam preparation, or managing learning difficulties such as dyslexia or dyscalculia.
You will meet with a Learning Support tutor who will assess your needs at the start of your course. By week 3, if appropriate, you will be enrolled onto an Additional Learning Support (ASL) class.
ASL classes are designed to support your main course. You will learn strategies to help you prepare for exams, improve your study skills, and build confidence in your learning. This includes developing techniques for reading, writing, memory, organisation, and managing exam tasks.
You will receive personalised support to help you succeed in your course and achieve your goals.
