Course Overview

Course Overview
“No experience needed, just bring your curiosity and enjoy moving your body.”

This course is a welcoming introduction to belly dance for fitness and wellbeing. Suitable for complete beginners and returning learners, this course focuses on learning and refining core belly dance movements while building posture, coordination and confidence.
Learners explore basic hip and chest movements such as lifts, drops, circles and figure of eight patterns, alongside arm positioning and flowing transitions. Simple combinations are practiced to music with different tempos, helping to develop musical awareness and spatial confidence. Cultural and historical references are shared to place the dance style in context and deepen understanding.
