Course Overview

Course Overview
“Take an hour for yourself, move, stretch, and build confidence in your own way.”

This inclusive and welcoming class is designed for all levels, whether you are completely new to contemporary dance or returning with some experience. The focus is on helping you feel comfortable and confident in your body while exploring movement in a relaxed and supportive environment.
You will be introduced to key contemporary dance principles such as posture, alignment, breath, and the use of weight, allowing you to move more freely and safely.

Classes include a mixture of simple exercises, guided improvisation, and short movement phrases, helping you gradually build confidence and coordination. The pace allows you to explore movement without pressure, while still feeling a sense of progression each week. By the end of the term, you will feel more at ease moving, more aware of your body, and mentally refreshed for the rest of your evening.
