Course Overview
Do you want photography to feel more hands on — something you can make, hold and share, not just scroll past on a screen?
This is an Exploring course where you’ll create distinctive cyanotype prints on paper and fabric and experiment with images, objects and materials. It’s ideal if you enjoy printmaking, textiles or mixed media and want a playful, creative way into photographic processes — no previous photography experience needed.

No entry requirements necessary to join this fun class. Open to all levels. No photography experience needed.

You may want to bring some objects/props to contact print. Pen and paper to make notes and an apron.

How will you know you are making progress?

How will you know you are making progress?
You will have an ‘Individual Learning Plan’ where the course learning outcomes are shown and where you can set individual learning goals and monitor your own progress against these.

You will need to evaluate your own progress and manage your time.

Your tutor will give ongoing feedback and will keep you informed of your progress.

You will complete a self-assessment at the beginning and end of the course.
Your tutor will carry out informal assessment to check your understanding, there is no exam.

Your tutor will let you know how you are getting on throughout the course with continuous feedback and how to make imprvements.
