From the start of the course, your tutor will talk with you about what you can do and what you want to learn.
You will make a simple learning plan together to help you improve your English step by step.
As part of your learning, you will complete a short personal task linked to a group project. This task will help you practise your English and show your progress.
Examples of personal tasks include:
• contribute ideas to a group project and take part in planning
• discuss options and make decisions with others
• write a short message or text to support your project
• create a poster or digital message to share your ideas
• explain your ideas to others and respond to questions
Some tasks may include real-life activities outside the classroom (for example, working on a project or creating materials to share with others).
You will keep your work in a folder. Your teacher will give you feedback to help you improve your English.
At the end of the course, you will talk about your progress and your next steps with your tutor.
You need to attend at least 80% of your classes.
