Thinking about working or volunteering in health and care? This course introduces you to the health and care sector in plain English — the different types of roles, what a typical day looks like, and the vocabulary you'll need to talk about this kind of work with confidence.
This isn't a qualification course. It's designed to help you explore whether health and care is the right direction for you, while building your English skills around real workplace topics and situations.

You should be able to communicate in English at around ESOL level 1, meaning you can hold simple conversations and read and write short texts. No experience of health or care work is needed.
