Course Overview
Build your confidence using Spanish in everyday situations and simple workplace contexts. You’ll begin to say more about your daily life, what you do, and what you need.
You’ll practise real-life situations such as ordering food and drinks, asking for prices, booking services, finding places, and asking for information. You’ll also describe your daily routine, including what you do at home, in your community, and at work.
You’ll begin to use Spanish to interact with Spanish-speaking communities locally and more widely, building confidence in situations where you need to understand and be understood.
You’ll continue developing your use of el presente, helping you speak more fluently about routines, needs and preferences in both personal and work contexts.

This course is for those who have taken Spanish Beginners part 1 or have studied Spanish for approximately 20 hours. It is not suitable for complete Beginners.

You will need to bring your enrolment slip to the first session as well as a notebook and pen.

How will you know you are making progress?

How will you know you are making progress?
Your tutor will give you continuous feedback on your oral and written work as well as suggestions for improvement. You will have an individual learning plan to monitor your own progress. The tutor will keep a record of your work and performance and discuss this with you.

You will gain more from the course if you commit study time to it outside the weekly online sessions.

We expect you to attend all classes, be on time and complete any homework given by your tutor. In general, we will not allow late entry to any course after the first two weeks. In all cases the full fee will be charged.
