Course Overview
Extend your ability to talk about experiences and connect the past to your present life. You’ll describe recent activities, give updates, and respond more confidently in conversations.
You’ll practise situations such as describing recent work activities, sharing news, and responding in conversations where you need to exchange information.
The course will help you interact more effectively with Spanish speakers in a range of everyday, cultural and social contexts, building confidence in real communication.
This course introduces el pretérito perfecto, helping you describe recent or relevant experiences and communicate more naturally.

You will need to have completed Spanish Pre-Intermediate Part 1, have studied Spanish for approximately 80 hours, or be at least Level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

How will you know you are making progress?

How will you know you are making progress?
Your tutor will give you continuous feedback on your oral and written work as well as suggestions for improvement. You will have an individual learning plan to monitor your own progress. The tutor will keep a record of your work and performance and discuss this with you.

You will gain more from the course if you commit study time to it outside the weekly online sessions.

We expect you to attend all classes, be on time and complete any homework given by your tutor. In general, we will not allow late entry to any course after the first two weeks. In all cases the full fee will be charged. You can discuss issues with your tutor or the Assistant Programme Manager at any time during the course.
