Course Overview

Course Overview
“Feel the compás, trust the structure, and let the dance flow.”
This course emphasises the internal architecture of flamenco dances. New intermediate dancers are guided clearly through structures, while continuing dancers deepen musical sensitivity and expressive confidence.
Learners explore multiple step patterns, dance sections and group formations set to changing rhythms and tempos. Particular focus is given to understanding dance forms such as the Fandango, and how sections link together musically and spatially. Coordination, breath, stamina and flow are developed through longer, more demanding sequences.
