Course Overview

Course Overview
“Express yourself, bring your movement to life and share your confidence.”

In this final term, the focus is on expression and performance, while remaining accessible to all participants. You will bring together the confidence, coordination, and flow developed in previous sessions and explore how to perform movement with intention and presence.
You will learn and revisit a short choreographed sequence across the term, which will include elements of guided improvisation within the structure of the piece. This allows you to personalise your movement and develop confidence in both set material and creative decision-making. There will be opportunities to explore expression, musicality, and simple performance skills such as focus and projection. The class maintains a supportive and informal atmosphere, with the option to share work in a relaxed way if you wish. By the end of the term, you will feel more confident expressing yourself through movement and performing as part of a group.
