You will make deliberate decisions about materials, scale, colour and composition, while continuing to refine your technical processes, including layering, surface control and finishing.
There is a focus on continued experimentation, critical reflection, and discussion, using results to refine and resolve work alongside refining and resolving work. You will be supported to understand how your work develops and how to move it forward.
Sustained, focused creative practice supports your wellbeing by giving you time to concentrate on activities, helping to reduce distractions and overload. As you practise regularly, you build confidence in your skills and begin to trust your own decisions. Working independently over time also helps you develop a sense of ownership and direction in your work. Together, this can increase your confidence, improve focus and give you a stronger sense of purpose and achievement.
