Course Overview
Take your French to the next level by expanding your ability to talk about everyday life in more detail. This course develops your use of present tense verbs (including irregular forms) to discuss hobbies, home, local area, weather, and health. You’ll gain confidence speaking in longer sentences while continuing to build reading and writing skills. Cultural awareness remains central, helping you understand the French-speaking world more deeply.

Entry requirements

You will have completed French Beginners Parts 1 and 2, have studied French for approximatley 40 hours or be approaching Level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

How will you know you are making progress?
Your tutor will give you continuous feedback on your oral and written work as well as suggestions for improvement. You will have an individual learning plan to monitor your own progress. The tutor will keep a record of your work and performance and discuss this with you.

You will gain more from the course if you commit study time to it outside the weekly online sessions.

We expect you to attend all classes, be on time and complete any homework given by your tutor. In general, we will not allow late entry to any course after the first two weeks. In all cases the full fee will be charged.
