This Vocational Skills: Speaking with Confidence at Work (Level 2) course is designed for learners who are studying Functional Skills Level 2 or have already completed it and want to develop their communication skills for employment. You will practise speaking clearly, presenting ideas, and responding confidently in a range of work-related situations.
You will take part in activities such as workplace discussions, giving short presentations, and practising interviews: for example, speaking to a manager, contributing ideas in a team meeting, or answering interview questions with confidence.
You will also develop your listening skills to understand instructions and respond appropriately in professional settings.
You will learn in a supportive and welcoming environment, with guidance from your tutor to help you improve your confidence and communication skills. By the end of the course, you will feel more prepared to communicate effectively in the workplace and take your next steps into employment or further training.
